The IRWIN SPEEDBOR MAX Speed Standard-Length Drill Bit utilizes a tapered, tri-flute design that allows for faster chip ejection and less binding. The drill bits have cutting spurs with 3 cutting edges for added durability and also feature a full screw tip that allows the bit to feed itself. A grooved hex shank helps prevent slipping in the drill chuck or bit extension. The quick-change shank reduces slipping in standard chucks and fits virtually any standard 1/4-inch quick-change chucks.The Irwin Speedbor 1/2-by-6-Inch Max Spade Bit is a fast speedbor spade bit that features a Tri-Flute design with a fast chip ejection. The Speedbor MAX has cutting spurs with three cutting edges for added durabilty, as well as a full screw tip allows the bit to self feed.
