The IRWIN 1-Inch x 16-Inch x 21-Inch SDS-Max -4-Cutter – Tubed Drill Bit delivers faster, stronger and more efficient drilling. Its compatible with all SDS-Max rotary hammers, as well as Hilti TE-Y rotary hammers. The double-tempered and shot-peened finish of this Irwin drill bit lowers the possibility of breakage and wear and tear while extending its lifespan. Dust is removed from a drilled hole by its patented tip design. The tip design also ensures that every hole is symmetrical. The Irwin SDS-Max drill bit contains material made from copper braze to make it resistant to heat for less tip loss. All tips meet ANSI specifications. The chrome vanadium shaft of this rotary hammer drill bit has been through-hardened to 50-53Hr C.
